Terms of service.

The agreement between you and Qotler: what we provide, what you're responsible for, how billing and cancellation work, and what happens when things go wrong.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

The short version

  • Your content stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run Qotler for you.
  • Qotler suggests and drafts; you decide. Nothing is published, merged or posted without your approval, and you're responsible for what you approve.
  • AI output can be wrong. Review it before it goes live.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time.
  • Don't use Qotler for spam, deception or anything illegal.

This summary is here to help. The full terms below are what bind you and us.

1. Acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and Qotler ("Qotler", "we", "us"). Company registration is in progress; once it's complete, these terms will name the registered company, which takes Qotler's place in them. By creating an account, joining a workspace or using Qotler, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy.

If you use Qotler on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that company.

2. The service

Qotler is an AI marketing team for founders. It includes:

  • Mind: living, versioned documents about your company, built from your public website and anything you add.
  • Expert agents for SEO, AI visibility, LinkedIn, Reddit and X, with Content and Coding specialists behind them.
  • Integrations such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, PageSpeed Insights, GitHub and WordPress.
  • Results tracking: checks that approved work went live and comparisons of your numbers before and after.

We keep improving Qotler, so features will change over time. We won't remove a core feature of a paid subscription in the middle of a billing period without telling you first and, where fair, offering a pro-rated refund.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Qotler is for business use.
  • Give us accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity in your account and for the people you invite to your workspace.
  • Tell us straight away at security@qotler.com if you think your account has been compromised.
  • One person, one login. Don't share credentials; invite teammates instead.

4. Your content and Mind

"Your content" means anything you or your workspace put into Qotler or ask Qotler to read: your website pages, Mind documents, uploads, connected-account data, edits and approvals. You keep all rights in your content.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to run, secure and support Qotler for you, including sending it to the AI providers and services listed in our Privacy policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they roll off.

You're responsible for having the rights to the content you add, including anything about other people or companies. Output that Qotler creates for you, such as drafts, suggestions and Mind documents, belongs to you as between you and us, subject to section 13.

5. Connected accounts and permissions

When you connect a service such as Google, GitHub or WordPress, you authorise Qotler to access it with the permissions shown on that service's consent screen and only to provide the features you use. Google access is read-only. Coding can open pull requests but can't merge them.

You can disconnect any service at any time. Your use of a connected service is also governed by that service's own terms, and you're responsible for following them.

6. Approvals and responsibility for what you publish

Qotler prepares work; you decide whether it ships. Page changes, pull requests, social posts and replies wait for your approval. When you approve, edit and publish something, you are the publisher and you're responsible for it, including its accuracy, its compliance with law and platform rules, and any claims it makes about your product.

Where Qotler offers direct publishing to a supported platform, publishing happens only after your approval, and only to the accounts you've connected.

7. AI output

Qotler uses AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or similar to output produced for others. Suggestions are based on the information available to the experts, including your Mind and your connected data, and may miss things that only you know.

  • Review every draft, suggestion and code change before you approve it.
  • Don't rely on Qotler for legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
  • Results such as rankings, traffic, AI-answer mentions or engagement are never guaranteed. We report what happened honestly, including "no change" and "too early to tell".

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Qotler to:

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
  • Create spam, fake reviews, astroturfing, sock-puppet accounts or vote manipulation, or otherwise break the rules of Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Google or any other platform.
  • Publish content that is deceptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or that targets a private individual.
  • Point Qotler at websites you don't own or aren't authorised to work on, except to analyse competitors' public pages.
  • Probe, scan or attack Qotler or any other system, or try to get around rate limits, the spend cap or access controls. Good-faith security research under our disclosure policy is welcome.
  • Copy, resell or reverse engineer Qotler, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Extract data from Qotler with bots or scrapers, other than through features we provide.

9. Fair use and the spend cap

Qotler doesn't use credits, but it isn't unlimited. Each workspace has a hard daily cap on AI spend. When a workspace reaches it, work pauses automatically until the next day, and nothing extra is charged. We also apply rate limits to keep the service fast and fair for everyone. If your use regularly hits the cap, we'll talk to you about it before changing anything.

10. Billing and renewals

  • What you pay is the plan and price shown to you before you subscribe. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you pay any applicable taxes.
  • Renewals: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as shown when you subscribe) until you cancel. We'll charge the payment method on file at the start of each period.
  • Annual billing is charged upfront for the year.
  • Changes to your subscription that cost more take effect straight away, with the difference pro-rated. Changes that cost less take effect at the next renewal.
  • Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to your subscription. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails, we'll tell you and retry. If it still isn't paid after a reasonable grace period, we may pause your workspace until it is.
  • Payments are handled by a payment processor that we'll name in our Privacy policy before billing starts. We don't store full card numbers.

11. Cancellation and refunds

Billing hasn't started yet. This is the policy we plan to apply at launch, and we'll confirm it here before anyone is charged:

  • Cancel any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@qotler.com. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew.
  • First payment: if Qotler isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
  • Monthly billing: after those first 14 days, no refunds for a partial month, because you keep access until the period ends.
  • Annual billing: full refund if you cancel within 14 days of an annual charge, first or renewal. After that, your subscription runs to the end of the year without renewing.
  • Mistakes are refunded: if we charge you in error, or a serious outage on our side stops you using Qotler for a meaningful part of a period, we'll refund or credit you fairly.
  • Where your local consumer law gives you more rights, those rights apply.

After cancellation, you can export your data until your subscription ends. Account deletion follows our retention policy.

12. Pre-launch and beta features

Qotler opens on 1 December 2026. Before then, and for features we label "beta", "preview" or "coming soon" afterwards, things may change, break or be withdrawn. Beta features are provided as they are, may have lower limits, and aren't covered by any refund for outages. We'll tell you when a beta feature becomes generally available or is removed.

13. Intellectual property

Qotler, including its software, design, prompts, agents, documentation and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Qotler during your subscription. They don't give you any other rights in Qotler.

Output we generate for you is yours to use, but similar output may be generated for other users, and we don't claim it is unique or protected by copyright.

14. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Qotler without paying you or crediting you. We won't publicly identify you as the source without your permission.

15. Third-party services

Qotler relies on and connects to services we don't control, including AI model providers, Google, GitHub, WordPress, Reddit and our hosting providers. We aren't responsible for their availability, changes to their APIs, or what they do under their own terms. If a provider changes or withdraws something Qotler depends on, we'll adapt as fast as we reasonably can and tell you if a feature is affected.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Qotler and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don't pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we end your access without cause, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid fees.

When your account ends, your right to use Qotler stops, and we delete your data as described in the Privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply.

17. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Qotler accurate, secure and available, but to the extent the law allows, Qotler is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that using it will produce any particular marketing result. Some jurisdictions don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Neither you nor we are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for all claims relating to Qotler or these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for Qotler in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Qotler against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable legal costs, arising from content you add to Qotler, content you approve and publish, or your breach of these terms or of the law. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control the defence, and we won't settle it in a way that admits fault on your behalf without your consent.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be heard by the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California. Before starting formal proceedings, please email hello@qotler.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Qotler changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for material changes we'll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Qotler after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

Other general terms: if a provision is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you. These terms and our Privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Qotler.
