Changelog
What's new.
What changed in Qotler, week by week, in plain words. Qotler opens on 1 December 2026; until then these are changes to the app we're building and testing ahead of launch.
How to read this
Real changes, grouped by week.
Each entry comes from the work we actually shipped that week. Purely internal work, like servers, tooling and admin screens, is left out unless it changes something for you.
NewSomething you can now doA feature or a screen that didn't exist before.
ImprovedSomething that works betterSmarter, clearer or more reliable than it was.
FixedSomething that was wrongA bug or a confusing result, put right.
Newest firstWeek of…Weeks start on Monday. Quiet weeks are skipped.
- NewMind workspaceA new home for what Qotler knows about your company: your company on the left, the open document on the right (one panel at a time on phones). Documents open in a rich-text editor, and the parts you don't touch are saved exactly as they were. Marketing strategy gets section tabs with customer tiles, positioning, messaging pillars, ranked channels and a roadmap with ticks; the design guide shows colour swatches and type specimens.
- NewVersions, restore and safe savingEvery save is a version you can restore with one click, and restoring never deletes anything. If another tab saved first, you choose what to keep. Unsaved drafts survive a reload, and you're warned before leaving with unsaved changes.
- NewGoals you ownMarketing strategy now opens with a Goals table: metric, target, due date and who set each one. "Regenerate goals" rewrites only the goals Qotler wrote; yours stay exactly as you typed them. Google numbers are only quoted once 14 days of data have synced, and due dates are planned sensibly: blockers first, setup early, and search goals allow time for Google.
- NewContent calendar you can editSee your calendar as a month grid or a weekly list. Drag a piece to another day, add, change or delete pieces, and save them all together, with undo.
- NewSearch and traffic dashboardsAn overview plus Search Console, Google Analytics and PageSpeed tabs, over 7 or 30 days, with key numbers, charts and ranked lists. Before you connect Google you see a blurred example instead of empty boxes. Each source shows its own state: syncing, failed, over quota, no access or disconnected.
- NewAdd your own documentsUpload a PDF, Word, Markdown or text file. Before saving, Qotler checks the file type, size and length, spots near-duplicates, finds emails, phone numbers, card numbers and keys so you can remove them, and tells you whether it looks relevant. Edit the extracted text in place with full version history. Up to 10 documents; removed ones are kept privately for 30 days so you can bring them back.
- ImprovedEvery expert reads the same MindEach expert's brief now starts with the facts you confirmed and your competitor decisions, then only the document sections that matter to its job, with your edited sections first. Your saved documents are included where they're relevant to the task.
- ImprovedCompetitors you can trustQotler now reads each candidate's homepage and judges it direct, partial, adjacent or complementary, quoting the homepage as evidence. Tools you run on (like your monitoring provider) are no longer listed as competitors. Discovery uses live web research where available, and the list keeps your top five, with the ones you added first. Anything left out is explained under "Not counted as competitors".
- ImprovedGrounded company documentsDocuments are written under your company's real name, carry Qotler's low-confidence findings openly, and say so when your site is too thin to support a section. A document that fails can be retried on its own, or you can write it yourself.
- ImprovedYour edits are protectedRegeneration skips any document you edited. Your description, category and social links survive a re-analysis. A competitor you removed is never added back. Length limits now show as live counters, with nothing cut off silently.
- FixedCompetitor linksClicking a competitor now opens its real website instead of a broken page inside the app.
- ImprovedMessaging proof, tidierThe proof behind each messaging pillar now sits behind an info icon you can hover, tap or focus, and says what would count as proof when there isn't any yet.
- NewSEO Expert, rebuilt around evidenceThe SEO Expert now reads your live pages and runs fixed checks first, then uses AI only to write the copy. Each suggestion carries its evidence, a Google preview, an honest expected outcome and the exact change, written for your platform: steps for website builders, or a code change with a note for your developer. Up to three open suggestions at a time.
- NewMind and ControlTwo clear places in the app: what Qotler knows about you, and what the experts are doing. Each expert's card shows Run, what it's working from, its suggestions, an In progress tracker and Fixed lately.
- NewSearch Console opportunitiesSuggestions now come from your real Google data: pages losing clicks, pages almost on page one, pages seen but rarely clicked, and two of your pages competing for the same search. You can see the searches behind each one.
- NewSave for later and Not for usTwo ways to say no, both with undo. Saved items wait outside the three-suggestion limit and come back when there's room; dismissed ones are never suggested again. A backlog drawer lists both.
- NewSchedulesSwitch on the weekly SEO check, daily result checks, the daily Google sync and weekly speed tests. They run at set times in your company's time zone, in an order that keeps numbers fresh, and stay off until you switch them on.
- NewPage orderThe SEO Expert works through your pages by importance: homepage, pricing and product pages, then pages Google already shows, legal pages last. Move a page up with "Do next", or skip it.
- NewChange recordsEvery approved fix keeps a locked "before" snapshot of the page, and Qotler checks with Search Console whether Google has re-read it, so results are measured fairly.
- New"Check now"Verify a fix on your live page on demand instead of waiting for the next run, including sitemap fixes. "Verified live" is now shown separately from "you marked it live", and a fix marked done that's still missing from the page is reopened.
- ImprovedSmarter indexing checksThe SEO Expert now works out which pages are meant to be in Google, so it stops flagging private pages like login or checkout.
- FixedGoogle numbers stay on your siteSearch Console and Analytics numbers are now kept to the site and property you selected; switching property no longer shows the old one's numbers. Each source shows its own sync state, the property's name instead of its id, and the picker remembers your list with a "Refresh list" button.
- FixedStructured data detectionCompany details inside JSON-LD @graph blocks are now read correctly, so a site that had them was no longer told they were missing.
- FixedExpired sign-insIf your session ends in the background, you're now taken to sign in straight away and brought back, instead of meeting an error on your next click.
- ImprovedNew app iconsRefreshed Qotler logo and browser icons.
- NewOne-question onboardingOnboarding now asks for your website and nothing else. While Qotler reads it, the results appear as they're found: what you do, your category and handles, your competitors, one key finding, then each document as soon as it's written. The workspace is usable before the last document is done.
- NewGoogle Search Console and AnalyticsConnect Google with read-only access, pick your site and property, and see clicks, impressions, position, sessions, users, page views and conversions. Google tokens are stored encrypted. The SEO Expert now grounds its suggestions in your real top searches.
- NewPage speed reportsPageSpeed Insights results for your site: Lighthouse scores, lab timings and real-user Core Web Vitals where Google has them.
- ImprovedConsistent scoresSEO and AI visibility scores now come from a fixed, documented points rubric instead of an AI's judgement, so the same site gets the same score whichever AI model is in use. New checks for HTTPS and mobile setup; llms.txt counts for less, because the evidence shows little benefit.
- ImprovedClearer website checksThe website field rejects addresses that can't be a public site, like IP addresses or localhost, by the same rules before and after sign-up, so a site accepted on the home page is never rejected later.
- NewMore than one AI providerQotler can now use models from Anthropic, OpenAI and xAI, with the model chosen per expert.
- FixedGoogle sign-inSigning in with Google could end on an error page even though it had worked. It now completes reliably and lands you where you were going.
- ImprovedA proper addressThe app moved to its own qotler.com addresses.
- ImprovedSecure connections everywhereEverything is now served over HTTPS, and plain HTTP requests are redirected to it.
- ImprovedNew hostingQotler moved to Amazon Web Services, in the Mumbai region, as the base for launch.
- NewAnalytics viewA first analytics page: your SEO and AI visibility scores over time with the change since the last analysis, and how much expert work was approved, declined and done. A correction to how its numbers were calculated followed the same day.
- NewSearch, filter and sortFind agent work faster with search, filters and sorting.
- FixedWebsite addressesA bare domain like "acme.io" is now understood, so re-analysing your site no longer fails.
- FixedRe-analysis replaces old documentsRunning the analysis again now replaces your strategy documents instead of adding a second copy, so you always see the current one.
- FixedOnboarding redirectsFinishing onboarding takes you to the right place.
