AI Visibility Expert
Get your name into the answers AI assistants give your buyers.
More buyers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI before they ever visit a website. Your AI Visibility Expert asks those assistants your buyers' questions, shows you exactly what they say, and works on getting you named.
Ask what buyers ask

Clear answers, FAQs and structured data that make your pages easy to cite.
llms.txt and crawler access
Makes sure AI crawlers can read the pages you want them to.
What it reads first.
Every run starts from Mind, so the work is about your company, not anyone's.
What you get.
Named: 3 competitors · You: not mentioned · Most cited source: a 2024 comparison post that doesn't list you.
Answer the question directly, with your pricing and two customer examples. Add FAQ structured data.
Up from 1 of 12 four weeks ago.
Examples, not real customer data
Proof, and limits.
Every expert proves its work, and some things it will never do.
How it proves its work
- Asks the same questions every week
- Keeps the answer text, not just a score
- Shows when you start being named
- Flags when a competitor overtakes you
What it will never do
- Invent reviews, ratings or claims to game answers
- Show a score you can't explain
- Promise placement no one controls
Content writes clear answers and comparison sections. Coding adds structured data and llms.txt.
What it checks.
AI assistants answer from what they can read and what others say about you. The checks cover both: the questions, the answers, your pages, and the sources assistants lean on.
The questions buyers ask
- Built from your ICP, your competitors and your Search Console searches
- "Best X for Y", "X vs Y", "alternatives to Y" and "how do I…" questions
- Grouped by stage: learning, comparing, choosing
- The same set asked every week, so answers can be compared
What the answers say
- Whether you're named, and how early in the answer
- Which competitors are named instead
- Whether what's said about you is right: pricing, features, who it's for
- Which pages and sites are cited
- What changed since last week
Pages worth citing
- A page that answers each buyer question in its first lines
- Comparison and "best for" sections with honest trade-offs
- Plain facts: pricing, limits, integrations, who it's for
- Definitions and numbers stated clearly enough to quote
- Dates on pages where freshness matters
Structured data
- Organization data: name, logo and official profiles
- FAQ data where a page really answers questions
- Product or software data where it fits
- Data that matches what the page visibly says
Crawler access
- robots.txt rules for AI crawlers, such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot
- Pages that only show their text after JavaScript runs
- An llms.txt file that points to your key pages
- Pages blocked by mistake, as opposed to on purpose
Sources assistants trust
- The comparison posts, directories and threads cited in your category
- Which of them mention you, and which don't
- Where a listing or a correction would help, as a task for you
- Cited Reddit threads passed to the Reddit Expert
One gap, end to end.
An example company, Acme, sells time tracking to agencies. Here is one buyer question from gap to result. Every number below is an example.
“What's the best time tracker for agencies?”
| Assistant | Acme named | Others named |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | No | 3 |
| Perplexity | No | 4 |
| Gemini | No | 3 |
| Claude | Yes, 5th | 4 |
Most cited source: a 2024 comparison post that doesn't list Acme. Your /agencies page never states pricing or says who it's for in plain words.
Fix: a direct-answer section on /agencies, FAQ structured data, and a request to the post's author.
Example, not real customer data
- Evidence. The question is asked across four assistants. Acme is named once, in fifth place. Competitors are named three or four times each, and the most cited source is a comparison post that leaves Acme out.
- Suggestion. Add a section to /agencies that answers the question in its first two sentences, states pricing, and says honestly when Acme is and isn't the right fit. Ask the comparison post's author to review Acme.
- Draft. Content writes the section in your voice, with facts only from Mind. Coding adds FAQ structured data and an llms.txt entry in one pull request.
- Approval. You fix one claim about an integration and approve. A before snapshot is saved, and the question goes on the weekly watch list.
- Live check. You merge. Qotler reads the live page and confirms the section and the structured data are there.
- Weekly re-asks. The same question goes to the same assistants every week, and the answer text is saved each time.
- Result. Example: four weeks later Acme is named by three of the four, and two answers cite /agencies. Reported as what changed in the answers, not as proof the section alone caused it.
How progress is judged.
There's no blended score. You see the questions, the real answers, and how they move week by week.
It's live
Qotler reads your public page and confirms the new section and structured data are really there.
Minutes after you shipIt's readable
The page's text shows without JavaScript, robots.txt lets the AI crawlers you chose read it, and the structured data matches the page.
Same dayAnswers moved
Weekly re-asks show whether you're named more often, earlier, more accurately, and whether your pages are cited.
Weeks, not daysNamed rate
How many tracked questions name you, per assistant. Example: named in 3 of 12 questions, up from 1 of 12.
Citations
Which of your pages are cited as sources, and for which questions.
Accuracy
Whether answers describe your pricing, features and audience correctly. A wrong answer is a gap too.
Competitor share
Where a competitor is named and you aren't, and when one overtakes you.
Answers vary
Assistants give different answers to the same question. One answer is noise; the trend over weeks is the signal.
Visits from assistants
If GA4 is connected, visits referred by assistants such as chatgpt.com or perplexity.ai are worth watching alongside the answers.
The week, in detail.
The weekly run starts only after you switch it on, and runs at your company's local time.
- Ask the questionsThe tracked buyer questions go to each assistant. The full answer text and the cited sources are saved.
- Read your pagesChecks the pages that should answer those questions, their structured data and crawler access.
- What changedAnswers are compared with last week: newly named, dropped, overtaken by a competitor, or described wrongly.
- The biggest gapOne suggestion with the answers behind it: a page section, structured data, a crawler setting, or a source to approach.
- Content and CodingContent drafts the section. Coding adds structured data or llms.txt in one pull request.
- Approve, edit or dismissOnce approved and merged, the change is checked live and its questions go on the watch list.
How it uses Mind.
Assistants repeat what is clear and consistent. Mind is where your facts stay clear and consistent, so every page this expert touches says the same true things.
The facts to publish
Pricing, integrations, limits and who it's for. These become the plain statements assistants can quote.
The questions to own
Your ICP and goals decide which buyer questions are tracked, and which matter most.
Who to watch
Your top five competitors, judged direct, partial, adjacent or complementary, are the names tracked in every answer.
How you're described
The words you use for your category and product, kept the same on every page.
Where answers live
Which pages should answer which questions, so you don't end up with five half-answers.
Facts you add
A security FAQ or a pricing sheet you upload is used as a source. Documents are versioned, so you can restore an earlier one.
What it will and won't do.
It works on what you control: your pages, your data, and the accuracy of what's said about you.
In scope
- Tracking a set of buyer questions across assistants, every week
- Saving the full answer text and cited sources
- Direct-answer and comparison sections for your pages
- Structured data, llms.txt and crawler settings
- Spotting wrong facts about you, and fixing the source pages you own
- Listing third-party sources worth approaching, as tasks for you
Out of scope
- Fake reviews, ratings or planted posts
- Pages written only to manipulate AI answers
- Paying for placement or mentions
- Contacting third parties on your behalf
- A single "AI visibility score" you can't explain
- Promising what an assistant will say
Versus the alternatives.
AI visibility is new, and so are the ways to work on it. Here's how the options compare.
| AI Visibility Expert | Do it yourself | Freelancer | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tracking | The same questions, every week, answer text saved | Asking a chatbot now and then | Usually a one-off audit | Often a dashboard score |
| Knows your company | Reads Mind on every run | Yes | Needs a brief | Learns over onboarding |
| Ships the fix | Content drafts, Coding opens a pull request, you merge | You do everything | Often a list of advice | Varies |
| Connects to SEO | Shares Mind and findings with the SEO Expert | If you join the dots | Separate project | Often a separate team |
| Where it falls short | Can't control what assistants say; no outreach for you | Hard to keep consistent | Hard to verify claims | Costly; methods vary widely |
Which assistants do you check?
The major AI assistants your buyers use. We show you the real answers from each.
How is this different from SEO?
SEO gets your page ranked. AI visibility gets your name into the answer. They support each other, and both experts share the same Mind.
How fast does it change?
Assistants update at different speeds. Expect weeks, not days, and we track it weekly.
Can I read the full answers?
Yes. You see the answer text each assistant gave, which brands it named and which sources it cited, with earlier weeks alongside.
Why do answers change from one week to the next?
Assistants don't give the same answer every time, and their models and sources change. That's why the same questions are asked every week and judged on the trend, not on one answer.
What is llms.txt, and does it matter?
A plain-text file at your site's root that points AI tools to your key pages. It's a young convention and not every assistant uses it. We add it because it's cheap and harmless, not because it guarantees anything.
Should I block AI crawlers?
That's your call. Blocking keeps your content out of some assistants, and also keeps you out of their answers. The expert shows what is blocked today, so you decide on purpose.
An assistant says something wrong about us. Can you fix it?
No one can edit an assistant's answer directly. The expert finds where the wrong fact likely comes from, fixes it on pages you own, and lists third-party pages worth asking to correct.
Do I need Search Console connected?
No, but it helps. Real searches from Search Console point to the questions your buyers actually ask.
Better together.
Every expert reads the same Mind, so the work pulls the same way.
