Works with your stack.
Connect once. Your experts read your data and ship through the tools you already use. Below: what each connection is for, what it can and can't do, exactly what data it reads, and how to switch it off.
Read, or ship. Never both without you.
Integrations fall into two groups. Data sources are read-only. Shipping tools only act on changes you've approved.
Nothing is required
Qotler works from your public website alone. Each connection adds something specific: real search numbers, traffic, speed data, or a faster way to ship.
Google stays untouched
Search Console and Analytics are connected with Google's read-only permissions. Qotler can't change settings, users, goals or anything else in your Google accounts.
Shipping waits for you
GitHub and WordPress are only used for changes you approved. Coding can open a pull request; it can't merge one.
Every integration side by side
| Integration | Used for | Access | Account needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Search opportunities, measuring results | Read-only | Your Google account |
| Google Analytics 4 | Which pages and channels matter | Read-only | Your Google account |
| PageSpeed Insights | Speed and Core Web Vitals | Public pages only | — |
| GitHub | Pull requests for site fixes | Branches and pull requests; no merging | Your GitHub account |
| WordPress | Applying approved page changes | Posts and pages you approve changes to | Your WordPress site |
Each connection, in detail.
What it's used for, the permissions in plain words, the data read, how to set it up and how to disconnect.
Google Search Console
Live · read-onlyWhat Qotler uses it for
Finding search opportunities from your real numbers: pages losing clicks, pages almost on page one, pages seen but rarely clicked, and two of your pages competing for one search. Checking whether Google has re-read a changed page, and measuring before and after.
Permission, in plain words
"View Search Console data for your verified sites." That's Google's read-only Search Console permission. Qotler can't add or remove users, submit sitemaps, request removals or change any setting.
Data read
For the one site you pick: clicks, impressions, click rate and average position, by day, by search and by page; the previous 28 days for comparison; and Google's index status for pages Qotler is tracking. Up to 90 days of history on first sync.
Set up
- Settings → Connect Google
- Approve read-only access on Google's screen
- Pick your site from the list (your own site is shown first)
Good to know
Google publishes search data about three days late, so the newest days are always a little behind. If the site you pick doesn't match your workspace's website, the picker says so.
Disconnect
Settings → Disconnect Google. Qotler stops reading at once and deletes the Search Console and Analytics numbers it synced. You can also revoke access from your Google account; Qotler then stops using the data until you reconnect or disconnect.
Google Analytics 4
Live · read-onlyWhat Qotler uses it for
Knowing which pages bring visits and key events, so experts focus on pages that matter to your business, not just pages with the most impressions. Grounding goals in your real numbers.
Permission, in plain words
"See your Google Analytics data." That's Google's read-only Analytics permission. Qotler can't edit properties, users, conversions, audiences or tags.
Data read
For the one property you pick: sessions, users, page views and key events by day, and broken down by channel, source and medium, landing page and event name. Current to yesterday. Up to 90 days of history on first sync.
Set up
- Uses the same Google connection as Search Console
- Pick your GA4 property
- Numbers start syncing straight away
Good to know
Don't use Analytics? Choose "Don't use Google Analytics". Its numbers are cleared and Search Console carries on untouched. Changing the property only re-syncs Analytics.
Disconnect
Choose "Don't use Google Analytics" to stop just this source, or disconnect Google to stop both. Synced numbers are deleted either way.
PageSpeed Insights
Live · no accountWhat Qotler uses it for
Finding the speed fixes that matter most on your important pages, explaining them in plain words, and re-testing straight after a fix ships.
Permission, in plain words
None. Qotler asks Google's public PageSpeed Insights service to test your public pages, the same test anyone can run on any website.
Data read
Lighthouse scores for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO; lab timings (first and largest contentful paint, total blocking time, layout shift, speed index); and real-user Core Web Vitals from Chrome when Google has enough visits to report them. The five biggest savings per page.
Set up
- Nothing to connect
- Switch on weekly speed tests in Settings, if you want them
Good to know
Each test takes Google 25 to 85 seconds, so results arrive a minute or two after a run starts. Smaller sites often have no real-user data yet; Qotler says so rather than guessing.
Turn off
Switch off weekly speed tests in Settings. Past reports stay in your dashboards.
GitHub
Live · no mergingWhat Qotler uses it for
When your site is built from code, Coding turns an approved fix into one small pull request: what changed, why, and the evidence behind it. Your team reviews and merges it like any other change.
Permission, in plain words
Access to the repository you choose. Qotler reads the code it needs, creates a branch for the fix and opens a pull request. It doesn't merge, and it doesn't work in repositories you didn't choose.
Data read
The files needed to make the approved change, such as a page template or layout. Your design guide in Mind tells Coding how the change should look.
Set up
- Install the Qotler GitHub app
- Choose the one repository for your website
- Approve a fix to get your first pull request
Good to know
Every pull request is small and does one thing, so it's easy to review. Merging is always a human decision.
Disconnect
Uninstall the Qotler app from your GitHub settings, or remove the repository from its access list. Open pull requests stay in your repository for you to close or merge.
WordPress
Live · approved changes onlyWhat Qotler uses it for
Applying approved changes to your posts and pages, like a new title, description or page copy, without copy and paste. Then reading the live page to confirm it worked.
Permission, in plain words
Permission to edit posts and pages on your site. Qotler only uses it for a change you approved, one change at a time.
Data read
The post or page being changed, so the "before" can be kept and the change can be checked. Your public pages are read the same way as for any site.
Set up
- Connect your WordPress site
- Approve a fix
- Qotler applies it and checks it went live
Good to know
Connect with an account that can edit posts and pages, ideally one used only for Qotler, so you can see its changes in your revision history and remove it separately.
Disconnect
Disconnect in Qotler's Settings, or remove the access from your WordPress users screen. WordPress keeps its own revision history of every change.
Keys stay on our side.
The short version. The full detail is on the Security & data page.
Encrypted at rest
Google refresh tokens are encrypted at the column level in the database and are never sent to your browser.
One site, one property
Synced numbers carry the site and property they came from, and every read is filtered to your current selection.
Only your workspace
Row-level security in the database plus workspace checks in the API, on every request.
Disconnect means delete
Disconnecting Google deletes the numbers Qotler synced for your workspace.
Next on the list.
Not live yet. Until they are, you get step-by-step instructions for each platform, with the exact values to copy.
Webflow
Apply approved page titles, descriptions and copy directly.
Framer
Apply approved page changes without copy and paste.
Shopify
Product and collection page fixes, applied after approval.
Publish approved posts and read their reach for results.
X
Publish approved posts and read their reach for results.
Post approved replies from your account. Thread discovery already uses Reddit's public API.
Slack
New suggestions and results in a channel, so you can review where you work.
Need another?
Planned, not promised: descriptions show what each connection is meant to do, and may change before it ships. Website builders like Webflow, Framer, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify already get step-by-step instructions today.
Still useful.
Qotler reads your public site without any connection, builds Mind, and the SEO Expert can check your pages for problems that don't need Google's numbers: titles and descriptions, whether pages are meant to be in Google but blocked, your sitemap and robots file, structured data, mobile setup and speed.
What you miss without Search Console is the evidence from real searches: which pages lose clicks, which are almost on page one, and measured results after a change. Without Analytics, experts can't tell which pages bring visits and key events.
Without GitHub or WordPress, nothing is lost but time: you get the exact change and steps to make it yourself, then press "It's live" and Qotler checks.
Integrations, answered.
Do I have to connect anything?
No. Qotler can read your public site without any connection. Google connections unlock search data and measured results.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, any time. Qotler stops reading from it straight away, and disconnecting Google deletes the numbers it synced.
Will Qotler change my Google settings?
No. Google access is read-only. It can't change settings, users, goals or tags.
I manage several sites in Search Console. Which one is used?
Only the site and Analytics property you pick. Numbers from other sites in your account are never synced, and the picker flags a choice that doesn't match your workspace's website.
Can Coding merge pull requests?
No. It can open them. You review and merge.
Does Qotler post to LinkedIn, X or Reddit today?
Not directly. Today the social experts draft posts and replies for you to approve and publish. Direct publishing will come with those connections, still behind your approval.
How fresh are the numbers?
With the daily sync switched on, Analytics is current to yesterday and Search Console to about three days ago, which is as fresh as Google publishes it.
Why does my dashboard say "no data"?
Usually the property is new, has very little traffic, or isn't the one your website reports to. Each source shows its own state: syncing, synced with no data, stalled, or needing to reconnect.
Which Google account should I use?
Any account that can view your Search Console site and GA4 property. It only needs view access.
