Show up where buyers ask for help, like a person, not an ad.

Your Reddit Expert finds conversations where your product genuinely helps, drafts replies that answer the question first, and mentions you only when it belongs. You post from your own account.

“How do you track client hours without annoying your team?”

Answers first

Explains three approaches that work, then mentions how your product handles the second one, with a disclosure that you built it.

A general rant with no question. Replying would read as promotion.

Trust

Proof, and limits.

Every expert proves its work, and some things it will never do.

How it proves its work

  • You post from your own account
  • Skips threads that would read as promotion
  • Reports how replies were received

What it will never do

  • Post on your behalf
  • Hide that you work on the product
  • Reply where you're not a real fit

Checklist

What it checks.

Most threads are not a fit, and saying so is half the job. Every thread and every draft goes through these checks before it reaches you.

Is it a real fit?

  • Someone is asking for help with a problem you solve
  • The person looks like your ICP
  • Your product genuinely fits, or the reply helps without it
  • You have something useful to add that isn't already said

Community rules

  • Self-promotion rules for that subreddit
  • Whether links are allowed, and where
  • Flair, format or posting-day rules
  • Moderator notes about vendors and founders

Thread health

  • Recent enough that a reply will still be read
  • Not locked, archived or removed
  • A question, not a rant or a pile-on
  • Not already answered well by someone else

The draft

  • Answers the question in the first lines
  • Useful even if your product didn't exist
  • Says you built it whenever it mentions it
  • No link unless allowed and genuinely helpful
  • Plain formatting that reads like a person

Your account's standing

  • Never the same text twice
  • Not the same pitch across many threads
  • Most of your activity should be plain helpfulness
  • Communities that pushed back are noted and avoided

Signals worth passing on

  • Questions that keep coming up become page ideas for SEO
  • Threads that AI assistants cite go to the AI Visibility Expert
  • Complaints about competitors inform positioning in Mind
  • Words buyers use go into your messaging
Worked example

One reply, end to end.

An example company, Acme, sells time tracking to agencies. Here is one thread from discovery to result. Every number below is an example.

Thread · fit: strong

AskerRuns a 15-person design agency
RulesNo links in replies; disclose if you sell
Answered?Two tool lists, no method

Angle: explain three approaches that work, then mention Acme once, as the founder, for the second one.

Example, not real customer data

  1. Discovery. The weekly run searches Reddit for live threads that match your ICP and problem. This one is three hours old, from an agency owner, and the replies so far are just tool names.
  2. Fit check. The question matches what Acme does. The subreddit allows a mention with disclosure but no links. Fit: strong.
  3. Draft. A reply that answers first: daily timers, weekly fill-in with reminders, or tracking from the calendar, with honest trade-offs. Then one line: "Disclosure: I build Acme, which does the second one."
  4. Your edit. You add a detail from your own agency days and remove the product line, because the answer stands better without it. Your edits are kept for next time.
  5. Posting. You post it from your own account. Qotler never posts on Reddit for you.
  6. Result check. Example: a week later the reply has 34 upvotes and a thank-you from the asker, it is still up, and GA4 shows 12 visits from Reddit that week.
  7. Next round. r/agency is marked as welcoming, and "calendar-based tracking" goes to the SEO Expert as a question worth a page section.
Measuring results

How a reply is judged.

On Reddit, being welcome is the result that makes every other result possible. So that's checked first.

CHECK 1

Posted and still up

Your reply is on the public thread and hasn't been removed by moderators or filtered as spam.

Within a day
CHECK 2

Received well

Upvotes, replies, and above all whether the person who asked found it useful.

Over a few days
CHECK 3

Led somewhere

Visits from Reddit and the key events that followed, read from your GA4.

Over the following weeks
Counts most

The asker's response

A "this helped" from the person who asked is the clearest sign you did it right.

Counts

Visits and sign-ups

Reddit referrals in GA4, and the key events that followed. Often small numbers, often high intent.

A warning sign

Removals and downvotes

A removed or heavily downvoted reply is reported plainly, and that community is treated with more care.

Over time

Where you're welcome

Communities that respond well, and ones that don't, kept as a record that shapes which threads you see.

Long tail

Threads keep working

Good threads get read for months, and some are cited by AI assistants. The AI Visibility Expert watches for that.

Honest limit

Small samples

A handful of replies a week won't give big numbers. The record over months tells you whether Reddit is worth your time.

A typical week

The week, in detail.

The weekly run starts only after you switch it on, and runs at your company's local time.

  • Search the communitiesLooks for live threads that match your ICP, your problem space and your competitors, using Reddit's API.
  • Two to four threadsOnly the ones that pass the fit, rules and health checks, each with the reason it was picked.
  • Skipped, with reasonsThreads that would read as promotion are left out, and you can see why.
  • Replies that answer firstIn your voice, with disclosure built in wherever the product is mentioned.
  • From your own accountEdit, then post yourself. Threads move fast, so the shortlist favours recent ones.
  • Reception and visitsWhether replies are still up, how they were received, and visits from Reddit in GA4.
Mind

How it uses Mind.

Marketing strategy

Who counts as a fit

Your ICP decides which askers are worth a reply, and which communities to search.

Product information

When to mention you

What the product really does, so a mention only appears where it truly answers the question.

Competitor analysis

Content strategy

What you know well

Topics you've chosen to be known for, so replies build a consistent reputation.

Your own documents

Real experience

Notes and stories you add give replies the specific detail Reddit rewards. Documents are versioned, so you can restore an earlier one.

Scope

What it will and won't do.

Reddit punishes shortcuts. This expert takes none.

In scope

  • Finding live threads where you're a real fit
  • Checking each community's rules
  • Drafting helpful replies with disclosure built in
  • Reporting how replies were received
  • Passing recurring questions to the other experts

Out of scope

  • Posting from your account, or any account
  • Extra accounts, vote buying or vote swapping
  • Pretending to be a customer
  • Mass posting or copy-pasted replies
  • Arguing with critics or competitors in threads

Questions
Does it post for me?

No. You post from your own account. That keeps you authentic and keeps your account safe.

How many threads will I get?

A short list of the best few, not dozens.

Will people see it as spam?

Replies answer first and disclose when you mention your own product. Threads that would read as promotion are skipped.

Which subreddits will it look in?

Wherever your buyers ask for help. It starts from your ICP and problem space in Mind, and learns which communities welcome you and which don't.

Could my account get banned?

Any account can be removed if it breaks a community's rules. That's why every draft checks the rules, answers first, discloses that you built the product, and never repeats itself.

My Reddit account is new. Is that a problem?

Some communities limit new or low-karma accounts. Start with plain helpful replies that don't mention the product at all. The expert can suggest those too.

What if no thread fits this week?

Then you get none, or one. A short honest list beats a long list of weak fits that would cost you reputation.

Will it find threads about my competitors?

Yes, when someone is looking for an alternative. Replies stay helpful and fair, and never attack the other product.

Does it connect to my Reddit account?

Not yet. Finding threads works today. The Reddit connection for your own account is coming soon.
